Tétouan, Knwon as "la colombe blanche" is a nice moroccan city in the northern part of Morocco, the city is located only few miles south of the Strait Of Gibraltar, Tetouan is also the only open port of Morocco on the Mediterranean , The Largest moroccan city close to Tetouan is Tangier, 40 miles away, the city of Tetouan counts a population of nearly 320,539 inhabitants (2004 census).

Tetouan is situated about 28 miles south of Ceuta (Sebta) and the Strait of Gibraltar, on the north side of the Rif Mountains, the city is located between a variety of Mountain cultures such as orange, almond, pomegranate and cypress trees because the city is located in the Martil Valley, thus the city of Tetouan has such an important geographic location in Morocco.
